By April 1975, Saigon is no longer safe for commercial flights and pilot Dan Hood learns that his jetliner will be the last one allowed out of the city. Along with Pan Am local manager Al Topping, Hood makes a desperate effort to plan a final evacuation. Fighting against the collapsing government and a string of red tape, the two must decide who stays - and who will escape.
