The Expendables 2 is coming to a theater near you real soon, it’s hard not to be excited about it. Anyone you’ve ever seen in an action movie before, is pretty much inThe Expendables 2! Anyone who did an action movie in the 1980’s is literally in it. The Expendables 2 cast includes such action greats as Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Liam Hemsworth, Dolph Lundgren, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Terry Crews, Scott Adkins, and Randy Couture, Did we fail to mention, it also includes B-movie Action Gods Chuck Norris and Jean-Claude Van Damme?

The only thing it’s missing from The Expendables 2 cast, is Steven Seagal. Who wouldn’t pay to see Chuck Norris kicking his ass and ripping off his ponytail to use as shoelaces?

Here’s a list of the greatest movies of The Expendables 2 cast to get you in the mood for it hitting theaters. We’ll list the greatest, slam-bang action movie each of these hard-hitting superstars.

 Sylvester Stallone

Sylvester Stallone was great in the Rocky movies and almost every other film he did besides Rhinestone (really, Stallone singing with Dolly Parton?), even that arm-wrestling movie he did was awesome! His best role though was playing John Rambo in the first Rambo film First Blood. This was Stallone at his best, playing a disenfranchised Vietnam vet, who just comes to town to pay his respects to a fallen friend. Instead, he ends up arrested and humiliated to the point where he breaks down and fights back with the skills he earned in the war. Never has Stallone been so kick-ass in a role. In the original cut of the film (which was based on the book) Rambo ends up getting killed at the end of the picture. Test audiences loved Stallone as Rambo so much, they freaked at the idea of that happening to him, so they re-cut the movie and he survived. Sadly, the sequels that followed, made him into a Reagan-Era super-soldier cutting down 50 soldiers at a time, full of violence and not much else.
