I will also like to state that there will be a situation that you will make application for a loan and never need a co-signer such as a Federal Student Aid Loan. But if you are getting a loan through a regular lender then you need to be willing to have a co-signer ready to make it easier for you. The lenders can base any decision on the few elements but the most significant will be your credit score. There are some loan companies that will furthermore look at your job history and come to a decision based on that but in most cases it will depend on your rating.
