The Small Faces were one of the most extraordinary and successful bands of the mid-'60s; their music remains some of the most valuable and enjoyable of the era. Throughout the sixties the band developed a reputation as a brilliant live act and represented the mod generation along with similar acts such as The Who and The Kinks. In August of 1967, they released 'Itchycoo Park' a lyrical tribute to the Summer of Love that captured the hearts of listeners on both sides of the Atlantic. The album was a huge commercial success thanks to the single 'Itchycoo Park'. The album also featured 'Green Circles' which has been described by some as the groups' first steps towards psychedelia.
