Paris, 1887. A wealthy American woman (Academy Award Nominee Patricia Clarkson 2004, Best Supporting Actress Pieces of April, Dogville) married to an English Baron, (Colm Feore The Chronicles Of Riddick, Chicago) sets out to open her own version of the Parisian Salon. She is drawn to the modern approach with decor of paintings, daguerreotype and extravagant furniture, all lit by electric lights. She decides to feature an ""enfant sauvage" a shy young woman and a scientific oddity. But neither new ideas nor foreign competition sit well with the entrenched aristocrats...including her morally corrupt husband, who conspire to ruin her plans through the most despicable means. When the winds of change blow, murder is in the air, and this unlikely pair of women have nowhere to turn but each other.
